The recent news of young #JamelMyles, a 9-year-old boy who committed #suicide after coming out as #gay and being bullied in school - resonated with us. It sheds light on the effects #mentalhealth, #toxicmasculinity, and #bullying on all of us - men, women, gay, straight... *** In honor of #SuicidePreventionMonth, we honor those who have succumbed to their pain, those who are left behind to pick up the pieces. So many (especially within our black and Latino communities) do not appreciate the profound ugly in that word for so many.
